Theme: A Vintage Christmas
The Festival of Lights Parade is the traditional start to the holiday season, as Santa Claus comes to town!
The evening is filled with lights, music, pageantry, and little holiday magic!
2016 Trophy Winners –
Several of the judges commented how difficult it was to choose the winners. The entries in this parade just keep getting better and better!
- Best Use of Lights – District 47 & 155 School Bus Drivers
- Best Use of Music – Crystal Lake Strikers
- Most Creative – Trinity Oaks Christian Academy
- Most Enthusiastic – Sage YMCA Swim Team
- Judge’s Choice – Too Cute Consignment
- Best of Theme – A Vintage Christmas – Kenmode Tool
The goal of the Festival of Lights Parade is to create a safe, fun magical event to kick-off the holiday season in Crystal Lake.
Please note: In order to create a wider and safer passage for the parade vehicles, there will be NO parking for the entire parade route, including: North Caroline Street, Crystal Lake Avenue, Grant Street, Woodstock Street and Williams Street. Vehicles should be off these streets after 5PM, and can be parked in public/commuter parking lots.

Spectators must be up on the curbs — plan your viewing options accordingly.
