Vendor Guidelines & Info

Please note: Our 2025 Farmers Market spots are FULL.

Location: Grant Street Parking Lot (corner of Grant St. and Brink St.)
Date/Time: June 14th through September 27th, 8am-1pm
Booth location will be assigned by Downtown Crystal Lake. Vendors using trailers will be placed on paved surfaces.
Facilities: Vendors must provide their own tents, tables, chairs, and means of display. Electricity is not provided. Vendors are responsible for clean-up of their own area after the event. All tents must be weighted at time of set-up by vendor. All vendors must have a tent and tent weights to participate in the event.
Vendor Parking: Vendors should plan to park in the Home State Bank parking lot directly next to the Grant Street Parking Lot.
Placement of the booths will be assigned by Downtown Crystal Lake. No participant will be allowed to set up without a signed and dated application and release. The Committee reserves the right to revoke or refuse to grant space at any time, without recourse by the participants. The committee shall not be liable to anyone for this action.
Signage for each booth will be limited to the merchandise and business name only. Participants may display or sell only the items that have been specifically approved by Downtown Crystal Lake.
Please note that this location is specific to 2025, while Depot Park is under construction. We look forward to our new, bigger, much improved park which has been designed with our Farmers Market in mind.
While exclusive rights to sale of any item will not be granted, we are careful to select for a variety of vendors without a great deal of overlap. Most of the time if we don’t accept an application, it’s because there is a returning vendor with a similar product offering. Please note that the Downtown Farmers Market is food-based with some exceptions for health products that are handmade; we do not feature craft and artisan vendors for the Farmers Market, but do for our Garden Party and Johnny Appleseed Festival.

Fees:

$0 – Non-profit vendor (limit two times per season, may request a third if there is open availability

$175 – Single Space (10′ x 10′)

$350- Double Space (10′ x 20′)

$525 – Triple Space (10′ x 30′)

All fees are non-refundable. Inclement weather will not be grounds for refund. No exclusive rights for the sale of any item will be granted.

No alcohol (including beer and wine) may be served.
One final note: We noticed during the last season that for a few specific vendors, being open during the month of September was no longer beneficial. If this applies to you and you would like to end your season on 8/30 instead, please let us know! We can note it in our marketing and you can still return for the Johnny Appleseed Festival, if that makes sense for you! Vendor fee is the same regardless of whether you decide to opt for a shorter season.

Please complete and submit the below application. We will be in touch to confirm acceptance and offer payment options (including check or online payment).
