EV Charging Stations
Downtown Crystal Lake now has a charging station where electric vehicles can be plugged in for up to four hours while owners shop or dine downtown. These charging stations were a joint project between the City of Crystal Lake and the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County.
Food Waste Composting
The Environmental Defenders of McHenry County’s Waste Reduction Action Team has organized the Waste To Reduce Waste program with restaurants throughout Downtown Crystal Lake and greater McHenry County.
