It’s that time of year—Where’s Waldo is back in Downtown Crystal Lake, thanks to Abalabix Books! Stop by the bookstore to pick up your stamp card, say hi to Waldo –whoops, we mean George— , then browse their amazing selection of books before heading out on your downtown adventure. A cardboard Waldo is hiding in 30 different local businesses, just waiting to be found. Once you’ve collected all your stamps, return your card to Abalabix Books for a chance to win fun prizes. It’s the perfect way to explore, support local, and enjoy some family-friendly fun all July long!

It’s time to find Waldo!

Since the Find Waldo Local event is still such a huge hit in Downtown Crystal Lake, we once again have 30 different businesses harboring a fun-size, cardboard Waldo somewhere in their stores. And you know what that means? More stores = more prizes and more chances to win!!!

Where’s Waldo basics:
1. When you spot Waldo at any of the businesses on the flyer, collect a store stamp or signature.
2. Wizard Whitebeard can be found at one (1) participating business. If you are lucky enough to find him, please bring the cardboard standee to Abalabix Books for a $10 gift card.
3. When you’ve collected at least ten (10) different store stamps or signatures, take the stampcard to Abalabix Books, your FIND WALDO LOCAL headquarters, to claim a Waldo poster and a coupon for $1 off any Waldo book (limited quantities apply). You will also be entered into the drawing for various prizes from participating local merchants!
4. If you collect twenty (20) or more different store stamps or signatures, you will be entered into a drawing for a Deluxe set of Waldo books as well as the drawing for other great prizes from participating merchants!
5. The search ends July 31st. Plan to attend the Waldo Grand Celebration and Prize Drawing at Abalabix Books on Saturday, August 1st at 12:00pm.
