As an accredited member of Main Street America, Downtown Crystal Lake/Main Street is a nonprofit organization that is fueled by community leaders and local support. A small staff and a volunteer board of directors follow the mission of Main Street America – preservation based economic development.

The Main Street business community in Crystal Lake fosters new businesses, helps existing businesses to grow and thrive, as well as protects the small business environment. Events, marketing and coordinated activities bring shoppers, diners, visitors and tourists to the open doors of our small, locally-owned  businesses.
