The Downtown Crystal Lake/Main Street annual meeting and awards night was held Monday, February 3, 2020 at Old Towne Hall.  Members and guests celebrated with a delicious dinner, music, and lots of neighborly fun!

Businesses and individuals were recognized and honored with a Downtown Gem Award from the Crystal Lake Main Street organization.  The Downtown Gem Awards recognize the businesses and people that have been instrumental in making our downtown the heart of Crystal Lake.  These are the gems that make our downtown sparkle:

Most Attractive Interior – Wickham Interiors

Front Door Award – Yours & Meyn

Best Outside Space – Benedicts La Strata

Most Improved Building – Aroma Coffee & Wine

Best Customer Service – The Clothes Gallery

Best Business Neighbor – Stephanie Ormsby, Wear Did U Get That

Rookie of the Year – Nicole Garringer & Ali Bonner, Out of the Box

Outstanding Business Volunteer – Brett Rainwater, The Olive Tap

Outstanding Individual Volunteer – Lynn Reckamp, Yours & Meyn

Main Street Spirit Award – Mary Behrens, Kitchen Outfitters

Generosity/Philanthropy Award – Alicia Wehby

Manager’s Choice Award – Lynne & Fred Wickham

In addition to the Gem Awards, additional awards and acknowledgements for their contributions to Downtown Crystal Lake were given to Lynne Wickham, Sarah Schrempf, and the City of Crystal Lake Public Works Department.
